About

Hey! Welcome to Tired Of My Fat Jeans!

I am a 20-Something trying to get a handle on all the crap that I've put my body and soul through.
Not only am I striving to lose weight, but also to become healthy, fit, and happy.
(Currently, I'm probably lacking all of these traits.)

I graduated college in December of 2011 and have been lost ever since.
I am not entirely sure what I want to do or where I want to end up. (Any life coaches out there?)
Right now, I live in Myrtle Beach, SC, where I grew up.

I love cooking, baking, and learning about food.
When I grow up--if I ever do!--I want to be a self proclaimed foodie.
I am an omnivore, but I enjoy many vegetarian and vegan foods.
I'll try anything once. :)

I'm really weird and will probably ramble way too much on this blog.
But hopefully it's enjoyable to read!

I think sloths and peacocks are the most majestic animals ever!
I would love to be best friends with this guy:

(Yeah, that was pretty random. But I just love them so much!)

I hope you enjoy reading about my successes (and the failures, too!).

I am SUPER stoked that I stumbled across your blog through Fat Girl Runs! (Who I found once upon a time through Ben Does Life, and just came across her picture again and was so excited to re-find her!) Your blog is super awesome already, and I can't wait to read all through it and get to know you... I'm also quite random and probably ramble way too much on my blog (when I actually get around to writing... haha). You seem really awesome, and your whole approach to life seems pretty similar to things that have been on my mind the past few months or so. :)

Some background about meee.... I'm Ellie, I'm 20, and I'm almost halfway through college at UGA in Athens, GA. I don't know what I want to do with my life, other than be fit and happy. Oh, and write. Words have always been my passion.

I am 5'9", and I was my heaviest about a year ago at 235. Size 20 jeans were tight on my hips that didn't lie, and still don't. Ha. I lost 20 pounds super fast and gained like 15 of it back over the next 6 months, and in August enough was enough and I went from 225 down to where I am now, today, at 195. Ultimately I wanna be like 160... god that sounds far away.

But yeah, IDK if you cared to know that stuff... but I know I like reading it about other people when I get interested in peeps's blogs. :) My blog is thenextfivemonths.blogspot.com. I subscribed to you... can't wait to see how your journey progresses from here, girl! :)
